If you are interested in the history of the amber drink, this package is for you. Combine your stay in Gdańsk with a visit to the brewery of Hotel Gdańsk, where we brew the best beer in Poland. During the beer seminar you will learn many interesting stories and "beer tidbits" from the field of brewing culture, including curiosities about Jan Heweliusz, who was not only a famous astronomer, mathematician, and scientist. As the most distinguished Gdańsk brewer, he was known for the excellent beer he brewed himself. He was also the owner of several breweries. Heweliusz came from a family that had been mastering the art of beer brewing for many generations. There is a legend that his grandson stored malt for brewing Jopejskie beer in the “Góra” granary, where the Brovarnia of Hotel Gdańsk is now located.
